Day 1: Gondar – Sankaber

Transfer from Gondar to Sankabar camp. You can be dropped off two hours trek before the campsite to enjoy the views over the escarpment and you will spot large groups of the Gelada monkey, small antelopes. You Camp at Sankaber which is 3250m.

Day 2: Sankaber – Geech

Trek from Sanakabar camp to Gich camp via Jinibar water  falls (500m), which takes around 6 hours. Gich camp is at 3600m.

Day 3: Geech – Chenek 

Trek from Gich to Chennek via Imetgogo which is the the most Scenic part of the park. At Chennek there are again excellent views, and you should see more Gelada monkeys, Walia ibex and if you are lucky the Ethiopian wolf. Trekking time of around 9 hours. Chennek camp at 3620m

Day 4: Chennek – Gondar

Trek from Chennek camp to Mount Buwahit ( 4430m), which is the 2nd highest pick in the country and walk back to the camp. Then picked up and drive back to Gondar.
